If your device already has Sophos Antivirus installed and you want to use Windows Defender, follow these steps to uninstall Sophos.
Uninstall Sophos using the "Uninstal " function, which can be found in the Windows Control Panel under "Add or remove programs".
Use this sequence to uninstall (individual components may not be present):
- "Sophos System Protection"
- "Sophos Remote Management System
- "Sophos Network Threat Protection
- "Sophos Anti-Virus
- "Sophos AutoUpdate"
After uninstalling, it is recommended to restart the computer.
